Riso Object
This framed risograph is a collaboration with interior designer Arthur Vansuyt. The custom frames are made from reclaimed wood and glass.
At the beginning of the collaboration, I was experimenting with different image-editing softwares to explore how to blend these different visual languages into one. What visual impact does one software have on the other? By systematically generating things in the same way and assembling them together, the visual came to life.
In the work itself there is a boundary that frames the work on the paper. Arthur came up with the idea of visually emphasizing this boundary in the frame by using a CNC Machine. Giving the inside of the frame a different color creates a depth and contrast between image and frame.
